Infant Op Art
This one is for all the babies that were just born this past month. I know quite a few! High contrast patterns are suppose to help develop an infant’s eye sight. This is why many baby toys come in black and white patterns. You can make your own with a piece of paper and a black marker. Fold the paper into thirds and create a black and white pattern on each side. You can use lines or shapes, don’t get hung up on making it pretty just create a pattern. Your young one won’t judge your artistic ability but instead enjoy the contrast of the black and white. And for those that are sleep deprived or don’t feel like looking for a marker download the HandMadeArt_InfantOpArt
When giving your baby tummy time prop the pattern in front of your baby like a tent. Miss M is a little old for this activity as she was more interested in trying to grab the tent and put it in her mouth (She is 5 months) but you get the idea!
